GoodGym HANDICAP time trial

0 GoodGymers made their way 5km in a race in Camden.

Sunday, 26th of March 2017

Right the scene was set, spring was in full swing, the sun was out and a cool breeze was present, all in all perfect conditions for a race. So Regents Park was the setting for the first official Handicapped time trail race. For those not in the know a handicapped race is everyone submits there estimated 5km time before the Race and then we calculate a staggered start and this is to try and create a close finish, so whatever your aim everyone has a chance to win. Well Four GoodGymers were up for the challenge and I can confirm the first Time Trial winner was Top Man Hassan. Everyone else had a had a cracking run and Lena even managed to take in some more Regents park by veering from the course and running just over 4 km, not too shabby for a Sunday. Massive thanks to the marshals Francis and Steve who this would not be possible if they were not about, also thanks again to Francis for organising this months one.

Nice one and hopefully see you at next months which is early next month in Battersea park, details will be up soon.

Here are the times well done everybody.

Hass 0:22:01.17

Mathew 0:22:29.91

Simon 0:20:50.53

Nice one, Tom

😂😂😂 I'm loving the silver lining-esque spin you've put on my epic fail Tom! Thanks for getting me out of bed and running on a Sunday for the second time! Well done everyone! xx
