Pete, Ashley and myself (Rachel) met equipped with litter pickers and bin bags to clear Darley Park of any rubbish that hadn't been placed in bins.

Although there was a fair amount to pick up, time went quickly as we all chatted away spending over an hour in the park.

Common items included lots of baby wipes, disposable facemasks and sweet wrappers. We also found a fair few cans and some Jamaican beer, half eaten dog balls and even a pencil case and a scrunchie. Sadly no buried treasure but there's always next time.

Good to see people enjoying the park and we saw some people rowing on the river.

Tuesday night well spent doing what we could to help keep the park a great place to visit. Thanks to Ashley and Pete for helping out!
