I got my exercise today running to and from the task and getting my shovel skills on. I was the first person there, and after a crash course, I was off clearing Ivy and digging holes to put the baby trees in. After I had planted a couple, Thomas arrived representing the local community association and brought an array of volunteers, many children with their parents eager to do some good in the half term holiday. After planting a few more trees, finding a few old bottles, getting hailed on and rather cold, I left everyone to it as there were plenty of eager hands on deck to get them all planted after I went.
