A planned tree planting task turned into a litter-picking session instead as we had planted all the trees at the weekend. Jack and Sheila set off round the streets of East Maidenhead armed with litter pickers and bin bags. There was plenty of litter to be found, nothing being out of reach of Jack's Go Go Gadget long arms. In the spring sunshine, the time swept by and before we knew it, we had taken 4 bags of rubbish off the streets and into the bins where it belongs. On the way home, Sheila was rewarded with the sight of a kingfisher sitting on a branch above York Stream. Beautiful!
