Mission

Giving the garden a weedy good clean

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.

The main task was clearing an area of Japanese knotweed. It was persistent on staying but after an hour and half of hard graft we managed to remove a significant amount, allowing other shrubs to bloom freely and leaving the area ready to plant more flora. No worms were harmed in the completing of this mission. Rose took to the scissors and gave one of the trees a trendy new style. We had a feline helper throughout too! Overall Mrs B was very happy to have a weed free garden back.
