6 Goodgymers road-tripped convoy style to help out with a water station on the Tunnel 10k.

After taking in the beautiful Liverpool skyline, we met with organiser Giuseppe who explained the set up and helped us find our feet. Our task was to do what we do best, litter pick! Set out along the route we bagged the empty and not so empty cups and bottles whilst cheering the runners on. Kudos to Pauline and Eimear for collecting bottle caps before the built up too much, saving the runners from the risk of an ankle twisting! .Recognising the issue, Katie and George started taking caps off bottles in advance of handing them out. Our Goodgym smarts and teamwork shone through!

Matt explained what Goodgym is all about to Giuseppe and we might be getting some new recruits from the West Wirral Explorer Scouts who were keen!

With all the runners hydrated and facing their last 3k, bottles and caps were collected and bagged for recycling in no time. Well done to all today, Giuseppe said he'd be happy to have us help out again : )
