This afternoon I went to see Ms W, in her care home. She was feeling a little cold, so I helped her wrap up in her blanket, and made her a hot cup of coffee, which she had with a blueberry muffin. That and a bit of a chat, made her feel warmer and a little better for sure. I told her about my planting tulip bulbs this week and my concern that, with this very wet weather, they will drown or rot in no time... And Ms W recalled her gardening adventures, in particular this bulb she potted, which grew into a tall plant and flowered beautifully, without needing any attention... We haven't been able to figure out what that plant was, but that's definitely the kind of plants I like! ☺️
