The sun was shining and the birds were singing when we arrived at Jean's house on Saturday. Jean first put us to work out the front, where we tidied up some pots and cleared some dandelions. Pretty light work for two burly Goodgymmers such as ourselves, and we were pretty cocky after finishing these tasks within about half an hour.

Jean then muttered darkly "you haven't seen my back garden..." before leading us through to South London's best-hidden jungle. We spent the next hour fighting through a tangle of greenery, clearing decking, pruning bushes & uprooting dead plants.

When we left, there was a path through the garden & Jean seemed happy. I went home and had a nap.
