Another frozen fish request came in from Ms M (cod from freezer to tummy in 3 minutes; blink and your miss it!), so I took the opportunity to also pop around her long overdue M&S order while her carer was there to help put it away. After a difficult month with covid, being in and out of hospital and away from home, Ms M is really enjoying the simple things in life and was very grateful to recieve both! I look forward to hearing from her later when we have a coach catch up.

Mrs J also had an urgent shopping request after breaking her phone. After being cut off from the outside world for a few days Mrs J was very keen to not go one more night without a phone. Being visually impaired and having mobility issues, Mrs J is heavily dependant on it for support. Sadly it proved very difficult to source one at 8pm on a friday evening owing to all non-essential shops being shut, so we came up with a plan incase she needed emergency help overnight, and managed to resolve the situation the next day with a quick trip to a 2nd hand phone store in Cowley. Mrs Js family have now sorted her out with a easier to use phone (a good old nokia brick!) , but shes happy to have a backup in the house for emergencies.
