Ms M needed some help getting some fresh food in this week. She is shielding and her family are too far away to support with shopping. She's had a delivery of essentials and non-perishable bits but was in need of some fresh fruit to improve the variety of her diet. One short telephone call later and I had a shopping list and specific instructions to head to Waitrose. Thankfully Friday evening queues were not too bad and stock levels were reasonably good. The only missing item was the asparagus, apparently very popular in Kingston. A short check-out queue later and off I went to do my 2m distance doorstep drop. We had a little chat and with a reminder to wash her hands, I left Ms M to enjoy the treats she had requested.
