Lucy and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the lovely Ms J this afternoon. Initially she seemed a little surprised at our arrival but when we explained we were from GoodGym and not a good man called Jim she was pleased to see us! Our task was to move an old fridge freezer from the back of Ms J’s house to the front from where the council will remove it. Before we began, Ms J showed us her beautiful summer house, explaining that she can make a cup of tea out there and even has a light and a gas fire! She also told us about her plans for the garden, bemoaning the likely cost of weeding. She was amazed to hear that this was something that GoodGym might also be able to do for her - watch out for another mission request. After our chat, Lucy and I tackled the freezer. We were relieved to find that although large and bulky it wasn’t as heavy as we had feared, although still a definite workout! We moved it to the front garden without too much trouble, much to the delight of Ms J, who issued us an open invitation to pop in for coffee!
