Five of us met at Brent Mencap on a clear evening, we were very happy to welcome Lydia whose first ever Goodgym it was, welcome Lydia, Harvey who was a visitor from Goodgym Ealing, thank you Harvey, good to see you, Becka, Josh and Pete. We did a short warm-up, then, as a task had not been allotted, we jogged gently over to Queens Park. There Lydia, Harvey, Josh and Becka proceeded to two two times 1 lap around Queens Park inside the park as we were inside the time for it closing currently while Pete did the timing and looked after stuff. They made great pace, on the first lap all coming in pretty much together with times in the mid 5.5 minutes, on the second lap Harvey just came in first at about 4 min 57, Josh coming in just behind at around 5 mins with Becka and Lydia coming in at around 5 15 and 5 27 , well done you guys, a really brilliant effort, all looking very fit , keep it going! Hopefully exercise is going to be a little easier now there is more light about, good luck with all your prospective running challenges this year. Josh did very well as he had a slight thigh muscle strain. We then went our individual way with several people living close by, Pete and Lydia jogged up to Willesden Green where they did a short cool-down (hope the others did a cool-down when they got home). Well done guys, see you soon.
