Mission

Four curtain calls...

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.

Midway through today's mission for the super friendly Mr E, he asked me for advice on whether I thought a particular set of curtains that I'd just hung actually suited the bedroom we were standing in. Being someone who has zero concept of colour matching or other such artistic matters, I had to laugh and admit this was something I certainly wasn't qualified to comment on - we eventually both agreed to keep the curtains as they were, a decision as much, I think, based on labour minimisation as it was aesthetic quality.

Four sets of curtains hooked and hung later, Mr E kindly invited me to sit down for some tea and toast in his newly curtained living room and it would have been rude to refuse his generous hospitality - thankfully he didn't ask whether these curtains suited the room...
