Four aces with[out] spades

After rounding up a few extra pairs of hands today we were tasked with clearing an area of the garden. What a beautiful morning to enjoy being outside, and be away from the office!

In just a few hours the 4 volunteers assisted John (the gardener) and made light work of an overgrown bed. Even after one of the spades broke we just got stuck in until everything was sorted, trimmed, composted or skipped.

Ace of Clubs provides support for homeless and vulnerable people in the Clapham area. Volunteers are allocated a range of tasks, from making tea/coffee and handing out groceries to manning the desk and filing the post

There are regular sessions at Ace of Clubs with Goodgym each week which is ideal for first timers or just sign up adhoc.
