Today's vaccination crew consisted of Paul and John (half of a famous Scouse band). Unfortunately new member Scarlett was unable to make it but we hope to be welcoming her to her first task soon.

At first John thought Paul might have upset someone as he was tasked with the radio in the church. He much prefers the outside jobs and John couldn't resist asking if he'd been put on the naughty step.

John was placed on duty at the front door of the church and also took temperatures before vaccinees entered for registration. The weather just got better and better as the morning went on and John teased Paul each time he de-layered. Eventually ending up in a tee-shirt, he couldn't resist taking a photo of the sun shining in a beautiful blue sky and taking it inside for Paul to view.

This morning we had the pleasure of welcoming an ex Portsmouth & Crystal Palace player in for his vaccination, Vince Hilaire. I can report his temperature was normal and he had a good chat with the volunteers in the church.

Paul was finally released from the naughty step at lunch time and joined John in the sun at the front door. They had a good laugh with most of the vaccinees as they arrived for their jabs.
