Farewell book deliveries

Today I did my final book delivery for the Library Delivery Service. I took a couple of books and a CD of Holsts Planets to Mrs G and had a chat.
Over the past 3 years I reckon I’ve chosen, delivered and returned hundreds of books and chatted about a variety of topics; gardening, parenting, travel, the economy, the state of the roads etc etc.
It’s been a rewarding experience but one I can’t fit in anymore sadly.
