Things were looking bleak at 5 minutes to the session but no matter the weather or the group size GG Lambeth will be out there doing good in the community.

As it happens it was a perfect winters' night for a run, crisp, cold, dark but dry and we were trialling anew potentially ongoing task with our friends at Incredible Edible Lambeth. Our winter stalwart Tilly was with us and just under the wire Charlotte signed up and made a group of 4 including Orsetta from IEL.

The task was simple, run to all 4 (5 as it turns out) compost bins installed by IEL around Myatt's Field and Loughborough Junction and give them a good turning over! In future we hope to help out with all the bins across Lambeth and are going to launch our 'Adopt a Bin' set of community missions so keep your eyes out for that.

And that was the tale of the evening, we got a free composting lesson from Orsetta (every day's a school day!) and turned over the food waste collected across the estates while enjoying a chat along the way. Oh and a nice 4km loop to boot :0)

Thanks all for turning out this evening and see you at the next one!
