Community mission

Extra handy hands

1 GoodGymer made their way to help the The Active Wellbeing Society (TAWS) in Birmingham.

Yvette went along for her second Community Mission at the new food hub at Aston University. She found that not only is the venue handy for size and social distancing, but there are also lots of staff and students around being willing volunteers. So there were plenty of hands on deck. That being said, she was able to make herself very useful, packing some bags and organising the upstairs area; which had the personal hygiene stuff: Toiletries, household cleaning items and nappies/baby supplies. She wasn't able to finish, which is always a frustrating feeling, but she put some order to it.
