1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in York.

I ran to check in on Ms K who is currently isolating. Initially there was no answer, however, after a little patience Ms K appeared at the window. After seeing it was me from GoodGym she came down the front door and we chatted (whilst I stood 2m away).
She was happy to see a smiling face and took me up on my offer to get some shopping for her. A quick run down to Lidl for a couple of essentials and I was back within 10 minutes dropped the shopping on the doorstep before knocking at the door and standing back. Ms K was very appreciative and I then had a quick jog home.

Hi Tom, did Ms K say that she will require further visit? I did not have her phone number (only the address and name) when making the referral. The task was to check on her and you went above and beyond by doing shopping for her.
Hi Michal, she confirmed she was okay for now but I informed her to get in touch if she required another visit. I also took her phone number (which I've passed on to GoodGym) to pass onto the Council
