It was a standard-issue trip down to Royal Docks Pharmacy, around to the south side of the docks for Mr A and then back over Connaught Bridge toward Canning Town for Mr E and Miss R's drop-offs. As it had been a little while since I'd been that way in the dark, I realised on the way back as I re-joined the Greenway that UK Power Networks had provided a much needed Christmas present in the form of a restored electricity supply and hence street lighting for a section leading up to Stratford High Street. This has been a hotly discussed topic on an online forum for Greenway users, so I know I'm not the only one who's now pleased to be able to see where they're going.
