There was something for everyone at Bromley’s cracking event in Alexandra recreation ground on Saturday, including crafts for children, photo opportunities with the Easter bunny, an egg hunt with a difference, a Mayoral visit, plenty of sunshine and even an ice-cream van! GoodGym energy was put to eggscellent use, helping to set everything up. Then excited children got busy searching for decorated pebbles hidden in the grass, eggschangeable for a chocolate goodie - or for a dog treat in the four-legged version of the hunt. I stayed to lend a hand with selling homemade cakes on the refreshments stall, which kept sweet smiles on everyone's faces and raised lots of lovely money for future Friends of the Park projects.
