Eats, Boots and Leaves

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

After a quick breakfast, an earlier than usual departure (compared to my recent strategy of rolling out of bed not long before I need to start work) took me to Boots in Lewisham for opening, and I had somewhat anticipated a train of people queuing up before the doors burst open. Pleasingly whilst I wasn't first, there were only a couple of people waiting for prescriptions before me. In no time I was being served although I had a little wait whilst they prepared the prescription for Miss L.

Clutching a reasonably sized bag of medicine I headed just over a mile to Miss L's house. I had a chance to admire the flowers in her front garden whilst waiting for her to come to the door for the medication handover. She was most pleased with my help, and I was most pleased to have enjoyed some morning sunshine and some exercise before work.
