9 Goodgymmers from all across the Camden, Islington and Harringey boroughs joined us for a special one-off half term food bank delivery drive at Elizabeth House Food Hub, by Arsenal Stadium last night. Goodgym Islington have been operating a lunch-time delivery service throughout 2021 on Tuesdays, but this time we re-scheduled for a Monday evening this week to allow the community hall to be used throughout the half term break. This worked out very well for our Goodgym crew, as quite a few of our regulars who typically work daytime hours were able to make it last night.

Approximately 21 households had large supplies of essential items, food and shopping delivered by our team- some of these were further afield (no more than 1 mile from the centre- walking distance), while others were literally 400m away from the halls in the surrounding housing estates. Elizabeth House have been offering an amazing service throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, and we are proud to help out with their operations.
