Took a holdall full of my books down to the PDSA charity shop in Kilburn today, then popped into Mr. N’s and collected another bag full of his, to take them to the AgeUK down at Maida Hill.

Whilst mine had been mostly withdrawn library books, his were in great condition and were mostly collections of photographs covering subjects including North Korea, Istanbul in the 30s, and Soviet propaganda paintings. I admired that whilst he was super enthusiastic about the books, he was still happy to let them go.

On my travels I also spotted two pussycats, a bumble bee and a witch’s house.
