Great to catch up with JC on a lovely sunny morning. To keep the chill off, we'd each cycled over to Ms L's flat to remove a double bed as a hospital bed is due to be delivered next week to enable her to be discharged. We were met by her neighbour Ms B, who mentioned that Ms L had been in hospital for a while now and was really looking forward to being in her own home for Christmas.

Fortunately, the bed was one of those with a base that splits into two pieces, so it was a pretty straightforward job to get it all out of the flat, down in the lift and outside for collection. We left Ms B to do a bit of vacuuming in preparation for Ms L's return, she was very impressed that we spend our time volunteering to do this sort of thing, but really the pleasure was all ours.
