Dora the explorer’s got nothing on us!
3 GoodGymers made their way on a training session in Liverpool.

- Led by Sallyann Hardwick
With this week’s planned task not quite ready for us and a litter pick already in the diary for next Monday, another Sallyann fitness session was on the cards this eve!
After a day filled with rain showers, the sunshine kindly poked its head out as we met up in Sefton Park. Sallyann was a woman with a plan as we set off on a warm up jog past the cafe, followed by some sprint intervals (whilst discussing how to pronounce Gateacre and it’s monster hills that Heetu had conquered this morning)
The words “We won’t go too far, we’ll stay in the park…” were still ringing in our ears as a casual remark about not realising Ibbotson’s Lane existed was all it took to spark our senses of adventure! Sallyann led us off on a lovely detour, which saw us taking in the gorgeous sights of Greenbank Park Walled garden (and learning about the yellow Marie curie postbox it houses) before looping back round to Sefton to enact part of the original plan.
3 hills and many squats, lunges and Jumping jacks later we very slowly jogged back to the park entrance to bring the session to a close!
