Another year of doing good in Croydon has come to an end, last night was our last group run of 2021.
Last week on returning from our task we noticed an area next to our starting location was in need of a good tidy. We decided that this week's task would be a litter pick clearing the area around the corner from the Landsdowne hotel as there at been an accumulation of empty drinks containers and a lot of other rubbish.
This week's task was right on our doorstep so we had no running to do.
Tracey from the council was more happy to provide is with rubbish bags and litter picks including making arranging for the rubbish to be collected once we had finished.
Between the three of us we were able to gather 9 bags of rubbish before our time was up.
