Don’t leaf me this way

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hammersmith and Fulham.

It was a bright and sunny but very blustery Saturday, ideal for a spot of sweeping up leaves (especially if you like sweeping them up several times as they keep getting blown around again!). Mrs L wanted her front garden cleared of all the untidy tree-clothes scattered around the front garden outside her window, so armed with a surprisingly ineffective broom and plastic bags I got to work. Sadly the confirmation email had found the junk folder of my fellow runner, but as there was no need to enter the property I did the task anyway, with a gripping true crime podcast for company (check it out, it’s an Audible one called West Cork!). Despite the windy conditions an hour or so of sweeping saw the garden in much neater shape and it was with some satisfaction that I bid Mrs L a happy weekend and climbed back on the bike for a sunny ride home.
