There was only a little mutiny on the bridge before we started (let's just go to the pub/ice cream boat/lie in the sun) and we soon got stuck in to scything away at the meadow (avoiding all pretty things), raking it clear and hauling our loads to the side of the river. It was hot work but very rewarding and pretty in the sunshine! We were all very good and saved the drinking for afterwards, scythes safely stowed out of harm's way :-)

This will improve the access to a dedicated green space for autistic children and young adults . Many struggle to leave the home due to high anxiety. This wild place can give them to space to relax and garden with their families.
