Lewisham

Mission

Dirty Pati-oh no!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

It was a surprisingly mild January morning as Monica and I arrived in perfect sync at Mrs J’s. Mrs J had asked for a return trip from GoodGym, to finish off the great work already started on cleaning her patio.

We got to work sweeping up and bagging some of the last bits of rubbish lying around on the patio, and were surprised at how many black bin bags we had soon filled.

We tried to make friends with Mrs J’s cat, and had a good old natter about the various podcasts we’d listened to about Bryony Gordon’s reasons for running, which we’d both drawn motivation from in our training for the Big Half.

As usual, what a lovely way to spend a morning!
