Did some gardening...had a weedy good time!

This afternoon, two runners from GoodGym Cardiff, Mike and Mali, made their way over to help Mrs P with some weeding and tidying in her back garden.

Mrs P is housebound so isn't able to care for her garden herself anymore but still wants to be able to keep on top of it and see that those weeds stay under control - we were more than happy to help with this!

We got straight to work as soon as we arrived, secateurs and garden bin bags in each hand. Working our way through the garden, we began by clearing the weeds from between the paving slabs, cut back bushes from the pathway leading to the far end of the garden and finally tidied the leaves that had fallen with the recent windy weather we've been having!

After an hour(ish) the garden was looking much tidier and Mrs P was very pleased with what she saw and grateful for our help. We left feeling just as pleased, with big smiles on our faces, very happy to have put our teamwork to good use!
