My visit to Mrs D earlier today was shorter than usual. She had other visitors, her daughter and son in law were there, and the carer popped by at the same time. We caught up on her news, she was feeling a lot happier and warmer than last time, as she'd got her favorite thick and fluffy bathrobe back, freshly laundered. As I was leaving, a lovely pussycat from Mrs D's neighborhood was looking inquisitively at me... She must have heard, or most likely smelled, Mrs D's lunch. Mrs D had fish and chips for lunch, which is quite a treat. And the chips were just right, a lovely golden brown, perfect! It looked like a very good day to me.
