Well, maybe not quite the Empire, but definitely this self built Ottoman with bolts, screws, an Allan key and what looked like straight forward instructions....

Kim and I were getting there slowly, but hit a dead-end with the leather padded top. We were just six screws away, but these screws didn't seem to want to go into the wood despite our best efforts of using the small screwdriver we had. We reckon a GoodGymers with a drill is needed for Ms. M to have a fully finished furniture. She was still appreciative of our efforts. Thanks Kim for your furniture building knowledge... Much more than me 😜
