As the season gets busier - This weekend had hosted Bluebell Dash race attended by Elizabeth, Becky and Robert. Both Liz and Rob then running the 5 mile plod last night. Patricia due to do a 40 mile bike ride tomorrow walked to the park whilst Christine is enjoying a return to running with friends again now its light.

We ran from Upton down to Hamworthy. We had planmed to meet Stan which was arranged a few weeks ago. However distraction had got in the way and hadn't confirmed today and sadly Stan was not there as planned. Not wanting to miss an opportunity, we picked up litter around the area, mostly around where the children gathered in the park areas, crisps packets and bottles!

After a few pics and a few handfuls of litter, we headed back up to Upton, feeling the grind of the uphill return leg!

The team as ever were happy to get a few miles in and not despondent by lack of planned task - But that's the sort of people Goodgym are - making the best out of it! There was a mass of Dandelion's on route in Upton Park which perhaps not as impressive as the pictures really do show and the views for most of the run across the bay on the run there and back - we enjoy those moments!

Making every second count 😁
