2 GoodGymers cycled 14 miles to help Keresley Parish Council with a litter pick around Keresley Jubilee Woodland. There was a good turnout to the Parish Council's Facebook event and with litter pickers and bin bags at the ready, we all set to work clearing rubbish around the woodland.

On the face of it there was not much to clear, but once you went beyond the brambley exterior there were many rubbish rewards hidden beneath with numerous cans, bottles and crisp packets salvaged. More unusual finds were 3 traffic cones and a garden ornament! Approximately 8 bags of rubbish were collected by the group as a whole.

It was then a cold cycle back before dark with a warm cuppa waiting as a reward!

Special shout out to Nigel who has done the 50 double this weekend - he ran his 50th Parkrun yesterday and today has completed his 50th good deed with Goodgym - what a guy!
