Curtain Call

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

Mr M called upon GoodGym to take down and replace the curtains in his living room. Despite the wet morning weather, Patrick and I cycled over and met up with him.

Taking down curtains sounds like a quick and simple task, but there are a number of fiddly details to it. We had to spend a surprising amount of time counting out hooks and rings, and spacing out the curtain hooks evenly. And once we thought we had one pair of curtains up, we realised that we had put the wider curtains on the narrower window and had to take them down again!

But eventually all the clean curtains were up and we were done. We said goodbye to Mr M and were ready to cycle off again.
