Nine Goodgym-ers spent a very sunny Sunday morning beautifying the coastal path and car parks.

After admiring everyone's cozy winter headgear (especially Catherine's Russian furry hat) or January short wearing (John!), establishing who is 'rubbish' (nothing personal Tracy) and having retrieved those lost in the wilds of the Great Salterns (Maxine/Maura!), we headed to the coastal path via some car park litter picking on the way.

We found the usual suspects (cigarettes, food wrappers, cans, bottles, unidentified soggy wet things.. dog poo in plastic bags (why oh why?!?!?)) plus some more interesting finds: - a ceramic ginger beer bottle - a Sponge Bob umberella - a stray golf ball - a mobile phone (successfully returned to it's owner - double good deed!)

After making 'shore' the surrounding beach, path, woods and verges were clearer for all the walkers, joggers and cyclists it was time for well earned hot beverages in Starbucks :-)

Our next Langstone Harbour litter pick is on 1st March, meeting at Farlington Marshes, sign up here: https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/clearing-plastic-from-langstone-harbour

Love love love the ginger beer jar! Did anyone keep it as treasure?
