Everyone delighted about the OBE for City Harvest’s co-founder Laura Wittingham and so nice to be told it was ‘our OBE‘ and not just Laura’s.

Despite a disastrous day and rain all the way from Richmond to Acton Central (and back) an evening shift at City Harvest cheered me up no end.

Crazy, busy non-stop shift, unloading and sorting a big delivery of pallets piled high with crates from Amazon. My task tonight was separating out the ready meals, deli food and dairy. Unfortunately no ‘before’ photo showing the Huge quantity of food we sorted, only the calm at the end.
