Mission

Chop it like it's hot

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Sunday, 25th of June 2017

On this fabulously temperate Sunday afternoon, Beth and Dom headed over to Mrs D's to give her a hand in her garden.

We'd done some missions already that morning, and were chuffed to be offered all sorts of choppy things to take care of a rogue bush/tree that was looming over her garden. We chopped, hacked, and snipped away for an hour or so, enjoying chatting with each other and Mrs D, until we'd filled several garden waste bags.

It was a great time, and while it was enjoyable for us, it's something Mrs D wouldn't have been able to get done without us. Both feeling chipper about the work we had done, we ran off to each have a chilled out Sunday afternoon.
