Sheila and Kanika rode their cycles a short way on a lovely sunny mid-morning to help Mrs H with some weeding.

Maybe it was the bright sunshine that blinded us, but initially we couldn't spot the pesky weeds we were there to pull out. When Mrs H pointed to her driveway, we could finally see the hundreds of tiny weeds peeking out from under the stony ground. There was also some weeding needed in the small patch of the front garden.

As Kanika is incapable of telling a weed from a chosen/flowering plant, she left Sheila to tackle the garden while she focused on the very obvious driveway weeds. After finishing with the garden patch, Sheila joined in the driveway squatting, squinting and pulling out weeds fun. Both made great progress in an hour and a half to clear up most of the pesky weeds. It may look like a game of spot the difference, but there really was a difference at the ground level!
