A lovely Friday afternoon and the end of half term which meant the clinic was a little short of volunteers from both Goodgym and the Royal Voluntary Service. Once arriving and signed in Jo was handed the hand sanitiser baton from Katie L who was running off to complete another Goodgym mission. I found that we were quite short staffed so I messaged out a call for help to my fellow Goodgymers and Music Tracey answered that call and came to help out for a couple of hours. This helped the staff at the clinic tremendously as they were having to step in and carry out roles that were usually filled. Tracey took over the hand sanitiser and I then stepped in to do the temperature readings. During the course of the shift Tracey went and assisted inside directing the patients to the treatment rooms. I then took over the sanitising and temperature checking. Tracey headed off after a couple of hours and we managed to get a photograph with Tracey showing her medal from her Triathlon she did at the weekend. Well done Tracey. All patients came in thankfully on time or early so I managed to head off with 10 mins to go.
