Buy Heck!

After a few weeks of shopping for Mr A, I'd like to think I've become pretty familiar with his list, the way around his local Sainsburys and his likes/dislikes. After running through today's list with him at his front door, I got to a new item - "1 pack of Heck Sausages - pork or beef" at which point Mr A explained in no uncertain terms that the other sausages were too fatty and these were the only ones he wanted.

Of course, when I got to Sainsburys the only item I couldn't find on the shelves were the sausages...there were Heck chicken sausages (other brands also available), but no sign of anything originating from a pig or cow. Determined not to be defeated, I wandered down High Holborn to Waitrose (who surely wouldn't let me down on this particular quest), and sure enough struck gold...one packet of 97% pork sausages later, I was on my way back to Mr A's, whereupon we had a good chat about GoodGym and all the different things that we have done over the past 6 months or so. Mr A seemed impressed - whether it was because of the sausages or the stories of shopping missions and medicine pick ups of times past I couldn't quite tell...
