Bush-whacking in Holbrooks

The garden at Holbrooks community library was vandalised a couple of weeks ago - ( read about it here: shorturl.at/suBDT ) - they smashed-up furniture, ripped-up plants and threw paint everywhere.
Eight of us spent four hours on Sunday straightening the place up -I then did a bit of pruning and managed to fill 11 sacks with thorny clippings.
The place looked pretty good by the time we'd finished, I am going to go back in the spring and help them establish a herb garden.
