A chilly Sunday morning with the Conservation Volunteers saw us clearing an overgrown copse of trees, riddled with ivy that was choking out all other plant life.

We got stuck in clearing it out, everyone with their own little section to start with but soon cutting paths to join up all our patched. By lunchtime you could see straight through to the other side and all that extra light will allow the ground plants to grow and a greater diversity of trees to grow.

Hard work and visits to the fire kept us warm in the process.

Rebecca completed her 50th deed with this task too! 🎉
