Buck-Inn the trend

After some top marshaling at Forest Runner and quick cake and coffee stop in the cafe, the second GG monthly social walk was underway. Unfortunately, due to the last minute change to the race route, the walk started along the trail that we had already walked down (or in Neil's case run around twice!). But no-one seemed too bothered and we made our way down the Ellerburn trail out of Dalby and towards the village of Thornton-Le-Dale. Any forks in the route being expertly navigated by the fail-safe 'lefty loosey, righty tighty'

Promises of ice cream were way off the mark due to it still being winter and ice cream parlours being seasonal business (who knew?). So instead we headed to the Buck for a swift pint, a bit more cake and a few poor attempts at splitting the G (ask Mitch)

Feeling refueled/sluggish from the beer, we made our way back up to Dalby and then parted ways
