Sugar, eh? Sweet, sweet sugar. We want it all: the terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, we might offend a few of the blue-noses with our cocky stride and musky odor - oh, we'll never be the darlings of the so-called 'City Fathers' who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about what's to be done with this GGH lot?

A Sticky Situation

Erm... where were we? Oh, yes, 6 saccharine goodgymmers sweet-talked their way through a balmy Wednesday evening, helping Femi at the Haringey Foodbank.

Nurjehan, Niamh, and Kapil were tasked with divvying up a couple of hundred pounds of sugar, into portion bags to go into food parcels to be distributed on Saturday (you can help - details here).

While that was happening, Juan, Natasha, and Gramps got on with the business of getting said food parcels ready.

It was a smooth operation, reader. As usual, the banter was top notch too. Though we never quite recovered from Nurjehan's harrowing and heart-rending "hard potato sandwich" story. I'm afraid, it truly is one of those classic GGH 'you had to be there' moments.

Anyway, before you could say 'sugar crash', we were bidding farewell to Femi and setting up camp outside the Selby Centre for a photo session.

Once Gramps was satisfied we had a good group shot, we all went our merry ways, in search of chip butties in North London.

Boom!
