Happy New Year!

7 eager Goodgymers brushed off the cobwebs from the night before to help out at Florence Park Junior Parkrun. With University Parks having a special New Year's Day 5 km run, it was all hands on deck for the skeleton crew of volunteers on a fresh and clear morning.

30 juniors made it around the 2 km course with many tourists visiting and a few regulars too. Bethan, Ruth, Trev and Julia were able marshals with tambourines, foam hands and cheery support encouraging the juniors around the course. Anwen was a lone barcode scanner and Kieran handed out finish tokens to the juniors who crossed the finish line. Trev also provided a first timers briefing for those visiting and Ben provided the main briefing as run director and led the warm up, which was certainly required to get the blood pumping on a colder morning!

Thank you to all those that helped out!
