Lewisham

Mission

Beep Beep, that's the sound of the (smoke) alarm!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

Taking on a last minute mission 2 Good Gymers headed to this mission both straight from work. Upon arrival after trying to lock my bike (which seemed more of a mission that the actual mission ahead), Pieter stated that he had already been here on a previous mission which is always nice.

Mr P was expecting us and knew exactly who would be attending, he was straight at it giving us instructions and had the spare batteries ready to go. Pieter went straight up the ladder while I chatted to Mr P about his day and general well being.

Within no time at all both smoke alarms had new batteries and Mr P was glad he didn't have to listen to the beeping noise any longer.

We left leaving Mr P much happier, followed by a lovely discussion between Pieter and I about him due to become a father soon. I look forward to hearing about the new arrival later in the year.

Such an amazing job guys, I'm sure Mr P was glad to be rid of the noise!
