Putting the Good (Gym) into Good Friday!

To kick off my bank holiday weekend I ran my first Covid-19 mission, dropping off shopping for Mrs & Mr T. Being part of the at risk group the couple are currently self-isolating and are unable to go food shopping so the British Red Cross referred them to Good Gym.

Ahead of time I was supplied with a clear shopping list and a reassurance that substitutions/missing items were expected. The only challenge was to ensure I got chicken flavoured cat food for renown fuss puss Lester (who will NOT eat fish). Luckily the local independent shop I found on route had exactly what Lester liked and only lack a trio of items on my shopping list.

Laden down with (reusable) bags I headed to the couple's home where I was gratefully greeted. Maintaining a safe distance I dropped off the shopping, wished them a good day and headed off on my run back.

As I retraced my steps I ran past fellow Haringey Good Gymmer @Dave, alas we were unable to do a Haringey high five so instead opted for a socially distanced wave.
