Beautiful magnolia flowers!

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.

It was such a beautiful afternoon after a soggy start to the day today! I walked in the warm afternoon sunshine to visit Ms W and was amazed to see the magnolia buds ready to burst into those magnificent flowers we all know! I found Ms W sitting alone in her armchair with only the the TV for company, as usual. I got the coffee and cake sorted and I started telling her about the nature waking up from the winter sleep, the sunshine and the magnolia flowers. I try to bring color into her mind whenever I can, as Ms W has lost her sight. She remembered that they had a magnolia tree in her parents garden. And we chatted away for a while, I told her about our GoodGym creative task contributing to the making of a Maidenhead Mural. I'll have to describe it to her, once it's finished! That may be quite a job in itself...
